How to Rent TRON Energy: A Step-by-Step Guide
Renting energy takes a couple of minutes. Follow this walkthrough to cover your USDT transfers without burning a single TRX.
Before you start
You need just two things: your TRON wallet address (the one starting with T) and a rough idea of how many USDT transfers you plan to make. You do not need to connect your wallet, sign anything, or share a private key. Energy is delegated on-chain to your address from the outside.
Step 1 — Enter your TRON address
Paste the receiving address into the order form. Double-check the first and last characters; energy is delegated to exactly the address you type, so a typo would send resources to the wrong wallet.
Step 2 — Choose how much energy you need
Pick the number of transactions you want covered, or a fixed energy amount. One standard USDT-TRC20 transfer to an activated address needs about 65,000 energy. If you send to brand-new addresses, allow a bit more, since activating a fresh recipient costs extra.
- 1 transfer ≈ 65,000 energy
- 10 transfers ≈ 650,000 energy
- Sending to new addresses: add a margin on top
Step 3 — Pay for the order
Send the quoted amount in TRX or USDT to the payment address shown. The cost of renting is a small fraction of what you would burn paying the network directly, because the staked TRX behind the energy is reused across many users.
Step 4 — Energy arrives, send your USDT
Within moments the energy is delegated to your address. Open your wallet, send USDT-TRC20 as usual, and the transfer consumes the rented energy instead of burning TRX. When the rental window ends, the delegation simply expires — nothing else to clean up.
Step 5 — Repeat or automate
For one-off transfers, just rent again next time. If you send regularly, switch on auto-refill: set a target number of transactions and a schedule, and your wallet stays topped up without you watching it.
Do I have to connect my wallet?
No. You only paste your public address. Energy is delegated to it on-chain; you never connect, sign, or expose a private key.
How fast does the energy arrive?
Usually within moments of payment confirmation. Once delegated, you can send your USDT immediately.
What if I rent too little?
If energy runs short, the network covers the gap by burning some TRX. Rent a small margin above your expected transfers to avoid this.
